Let me give you a quick step-by-step e-Invoice Guide to issue eInvoice from MyInvois Portal. *Guide created is on LHDN Testing Environment, actual screen &amp; process may vary.

Click on Edit

Put "NA" if not applicable. Leave it blank then cannot save.

Key in SST Registration Number

Key in Tourism Tax Registration Number

Choose your preferred language 

to upload your company logo. Only 400px by 400px resolution square image file.

Click on Choose File

Click on Save

to generate a QR code so you can easily share your Taxpayer TIN profile

Click on Generate QR Code

Click on Download

Click on Back to MyInvois Portal

Click on New Document

here you can choose what time of e-invoice to issue. We choose Invoice for now.

Click on Type of Document

Click on Start

to modify the e-invoice number, or the date / time if needed. * Best avoid symbol in the "e-Invoice Number", and "Date / Time" can't be back dated more than 72 hours.

Click on Override

to receive notification on changes for this document.

Click on the Toggle

Click on Continue

Supplier (From) Info

are your client info that have to fill.

Buyer (To) Info

So that it will verify the TIN match with the BRN or any ID type or not.

Click on Validate

only can key in the Buyer info like name, sst, email and so on. Do fill in all compusory field accordingly.

After Validated

at the Supplier and Buyer tab mean everything required already filled in.

Showing Tick

Click on Add Line

Key in all the required field

scroll down to add taxes related info.

Next to Taxes section

Click on Add Tax Type

and select whichever it is. In this case we use not applicable.

Click on Tax Type

and usually, we choose Malaysia since in this case, we are the Supplier and is local Malaysia company.

Click on Country of Origin

to complete adding this line item.

Click on Add

can allow your to key in additional information like Recipient Name, payment terms, etc.

Additional Information Tab

after any additional information have been added.

after checking everything is correct at this Summary screen.

Click on Sign & Submit

for security purpose, need verify your user profile login again.

Popup Screen for Verification

after put in your user profile login info

Click on Submit

after key in your user profile password

to digitally sign on behalf the Company, then tick to agree.

Sign In Again

on the Document Submitted Screen. This screen show that document have been submitted, doesn't meant it is already validated.

Click on Finished

Click on Documents

Click on e-Invoice Created

after you see the Valid status of the e-Invoice

Click on Print

Usually we recommend test scan the QR code

This is the e-Invoice

Which is the same URL if you scan the e-Invoice QR code.

Click on Get Validation Link

to copy this long URL, so you can manually go to it on computer rather than scanning QR code

Click on Copy Link

You can get to this from the QR code or the Validation link.

Validated e-Invoice

This next section is to show how to cancel an e-Invoice (within 72 hours).
