Let's see you how you can add a reminder for an oil change

Add the vehicles that you want to set this reminder for

Select Oil Change as the service task

Specify the mileage interval for this reminder, indicating the distance at which you want the oil change to occur (eg., every 5000 miles).

If you enter a time interval then reminder will be triggered either on mileage or time, whichever comes first

Check this box, If you need a Work Order created when the Oil Change is due

In the Remind Me section, enter how soon do you want to be notified before a service is due (eg., 250 miles before the oil change is due)

Select the users who should be notified when the oil change is due

Enter the previous oil change date and mileage for this vehicle. Approximate values are acceptable.

Any comments you enter here, will be attached in the reminder notification email

The status of a reminder is determined based on the date and the vehicle's mileage in the system

Filter reminders by vehicles or service tasks

The reminder will be automatically reset when you record an Oil Change for the vehicle in Services
