Let me give you a quick tour of setting up how the inbox is set as default on automation.

Default Inbox

Click on Automations

Click on Settings

or simply choose to the registered emails that you already have.

Set your Chosen Default Email

Go to  Inbox

This is the area where your message will be displayed once you test your default email.

Click on Database

Make sure that the email that you choose would be the the same email that you set as default on your automation settings.

Click the Checkbox of your default email .

This is where your default email will automatically show.

This is only an option for you to choose if you have 2 default emails so that you can select the other one if you wish to send your message on that email.

You can click this dropdown button.

This is the area where you will compose your message that you want to send.

Click on Send

This is to make sure if you already received your test message.

Once done, Click on Inbox

Once you received your test message, Click on Automations

By this time you will see under your automation settings your default email will automatically show already. This concludes that you were able to set your Inbox as Default on your Automation.
