Let me give you a quick tour of the Trace product

How to run a Trace search

To perform a Trace search, use the input fields to enter information such as Name / Date Of Birth / Gender / Address / Telephone Number / Email Address. Once the individual's details have been entered, click on Search. Enhanced Name Search and Consented Data are now included in every search.

Click on Search

Once the search has been completed, the Trace product will return a list of matched data. If the correct record is returned, you can view this record by clicking on View. This will not take another credit at this stage.

Once the selected record has loaded, if there is any accompanying data such as Phone Numbers or Email Addresses, Trace will allow you validate to ensure the number or email address is still valid. No credit is taken at this point.

When the Validate button is clicked, it will take a credit to run the validation on the Phone Number.

After being clicked, Trace will return further details on the phone number including network, roaming or ported details for Mobiles, and whether Landline numbers are valid or not.

The same process can be followed if there are email addresses available. Clicking on Validate in the Email Information section will take another credit per email address.

Email Validation

If the individual is listed as deceased, you can use the View (1 Credit) button to view the information regarding the deceased. This will take an additional credit. Once clicked, a new section, Mortality Information, will appear at the bottom of the page listing the requested details.

If the individual is listed as being Insolvent, you can use the View (1 Credit) button to view the information regarding the insolvency. This will take an additional credit. Once clicked, a new section, Insolvency Information, will appear at the bottom of the page listing the requested details.

Once you have all the required information regarding the individual you're tracing, you can use the More Actions &gt; Save/Print PDF or Email to keep a local copy of the details.
